We're back with more recommendations! Try figuring the words below.

Yes, it's read as Once Upon A Milk Shake. This is a sweet, cosy and small milk shake cafe located at Scape. Scape is more towards a youth hangout area. There, you can see youngsters and young adults roaming around. You can also spot flea markets just on the first level before you enter the mall. Anyway, if we're not wrong, this milkshake cafe is situated at level one as well, but inside the mall.
That Sunday, Edwin and me visited this milkshake cafe for a chill out session. The cafe sells mainly milkshake, seen from its name. Aside to the different milkshake flavours, there's also ice-cream for sale.
Photos for you to browse.

We ordered Spooky Mocha and Green Apple Bicycle milkshake. Spooky Mocha was too sweet for my liking. I think Edwin's one taste alright since i didn't hear him complain about it. His should be more towards the sour flavour. I should have knew better not to go for Spooky Mocha, haha!
Photos always look good with effects. Recently, we're so addicted to iphone apps! In particular to LemoLemo and Instagram. Yes, we did mention it before in previous entries.
This was edited with Narshville. It suits me.
As for Edwin's one, it was edited with Lord Kelvin.

Lord Kelvin effect is nice with its snowy white border! If you've got an iphone, you seriously should download these two awesome apps!!!!
Soon after the first chill out session, we went on to shop around Orchard. As you know, shopaholic Edwin would never fail to get his hands on his love at first sight shirts, accessories...etc home once he sets his eyes on them. Indeed true, he got home a sleeveless top and an accessory. Check out his top.

This coloured top looks good on him and it's matching to his light brown shorts. The only downside to it is this top is slightly pricey. SGD 70 plus if i'm not wrong. No GSS sale for this. So long as he likes it. More importantly is the buyer's first impression of the top. Once in a while, we splurge to pamper ourselves, tsktsk! Still, considered a nice buy.
We had good buys for that day. Aside to Edwin's loots, another mission of ours is accomplished! winks* We shall reveal it another day;)
Night falls soon after few hours of shopping and we came to a decision to settle our dinner in Marche. That day was my first attempt in trying out Marche. Pretty excited 'for i"ve always wanted to visit this restaurant long ago. Edwin was familiar with Marche as he tried out once. Somehow, i'm pretty impressed by the entire restaurant concept. You don't feel like you're in Singapore once you entered the restaurant. It has got this european western feel.
There are two levels in this restaurant. The first level is meant for queuing. There are two separate rows for the customers to queue up in an orderly manner. One row meant for 1-4 guests and another one is meant for a bigger group(>4guests). The first storey has this takeaway area where customers are able to buy back their pastries, crossiants, cakes...etc.
Very soon, we were given our seats.

Some random photo combinations we took while waiting for our food.

Finally after waiting patiently for 20 minutes, the food was here. The interesting thing about Marche is we've to go up to the stall counter to collect our food upon seeing the devices given to us light up. That's how they operate. More like a self-service, but making use of the devices.

Each customer is also given a guest card like the above one. The purpose of that is when upon ordering, one will have to show them the card and the vendor will then credit the food amount into the card. Payment will be done towards the end before leaving the restaurant.
Let's check out the sumptuous dinner we had that night.

Chicken pasta with tomato sauce and pepperoni pizza for our dinner! Drooling at the sight?
Let's take a shot before we dig in. Food are not just meant for eating, but also for nice taking.
Definitely a fulfilling dinner that goes without saying. Our stomach were so bloated from this heavy dinner! Upon payment near the exit counter, there sat a corner with sticky chewy candies for customers. Take few before leaving. we just love sticky candies! YUM YUM!!!!;)

Marche also sells these sticky candies in bottle. One bottle priced at 9 plus sgd if i'm not wrong.
What a nice Sunday evening spent! Life is relaxing this way having to indulge in delectable delicacies as well as pampering yourself with some good buys. We're still in search of more nice hangout areas in Singapore. So, how do you spend your Sunday? With families? friends? Or perhaps a date out with your gf/bf? haha. Do share with us if you've also got interesting activities or any nice hangout areas.
That's for now.
