The Last Song The Last Song is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father (Greg Kinnear) gets a chance to spend a summer with his reluctant teenaged daughter (Miley Cyrus) who'd rather be home in New York. He tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common -music, in a story of family, friendship, secret and salvation, along with first loves and second chances. Here's the trailer of the movie
This was the movie which sharon and me watched it last saturday. Edwin wasn't able to join us for he already had an appointment with his ex-classmates for a picnic over at marina barrage. And so, it's only left we girls, catching "The Last Song" on that saturday evening. Initially, we were only planning to have a simple dinner before proceeding home. Randomnly, we thought of watching a movie instead. We were pondering between Robinhood and The Last Song. And as you can see, we came to a consensus and set our decision on The Last Song eventually. Both of us felt that The Last Song was an average-rated show. It's a mundane story plot, revolving around family, friendship, relationship issues. However it was more towards the family issues, the relationship between the father and her daughter. It was a touching story towards the ending. We shall not let the cat out of the bag here. If the twist is revealed here, the movie wouldn't be as impactful to you when you watch it... (well, but we guess the trailer will give you a rough idea of the story plot). There's this nice song in the movie(The Last Song) sang by Miley Cyrus titled "When I Look At You".
(Given her young age, she's really a talented young star who has a great vocal and good acting skills.)
Just a short entry here, more updates the next few following weeks, we hope so.

With a change of preference this time round, we went for manhattan the fish market instead of fish n co'. There are 3 different all-time favourites to choose from the menu dish, namely the dory, pollock etc. You can accompany your main course with additional top-up of soup and drink. With asparagus and clam chowder under soup selection and common ice-peach tea and ice-lemon tea to quench your thirst! It's a fishy indulgence!
Manhattan's fried fish is crispy and fresh. For portion wise, it's definitely filling. A bit of garlic, chilli and mayo enhances the taste of the fish.SharonHuimeiEdwin
The three of us were savouring one of the best fishy treats yesterday evening over at bishan junction 8. It has been two weeks since we last met up for an outing together. There were a lot to catch up with one another over yesterday's sumptuous dinner. Definitely, it's not the end after the meal. we went on to shop around bishan. To be exact, not window-shopping either, we were hooked onto cute soft toys in mini toons, more than words instead and came to discover one interesting game play in arcade. It's like a fish machine where you will have to use tokens to shoot the underwater sea creatures and fishes. At first, we were amazed by the number of tokens the players have with them. After mingling around the machine area for some time, we came to realize that the players are supposed to collect tokens by shooting the sea creatures and in-exchange them for psp, ipod, playstation 3 etc. 4200tokens in exchange for a psp3 and 2000 tokens in exchange for an ipod (A token 20cents each if you need to top up) How worth it could that be? Guess is the thrill that players are looking for! No doubt, this is rather a uniquely new entertaining game which engages the players in it. We thought so.
This one here isn't a game, isn't a child-play horse ride either. This horse carrigage is meant for display right at the entrance of junction 8. A pity we are not allowed to go up this horse carriage to take photos, if not, we believe the turn-out of the photo would be a good one:) Definitely, sharon and huimei will enjoy the comforts of the two-seaters carriage behind and we trust that edwin will be a good horse rider! (*laughs*)
