Thank you, Edwin!

Edwin is back with goodies for us! He has just returned back from his overseas trip. According to him, it was an exciting and rewarding Bangkok trip with good buys, good massage, good food. He enjoyed every single moment there. An 'AWESOME' word to describe his 4D3N stay there.

Bangkok is definitely a shopping paradise. We're planning in mind to bring Sharon over next year. Oh my goodness! Anticipating the arrival of that day for it's gonna' be a fantastic trio overseas trip. we believe this day will come.

Well anyway here's sharing with you what edwin got for us from Bangkok.
Mirror pouch! This comes in handy, and it is of great use especially for girls. we need the mirror when we're out. It's not vanity, alright. hahaha! Thank you, Edwin!

Some snapshots took on a sunday morning.

We visited CCK's Long John Silver for morning breakfast. Initially was planning to go subway, however edwin had no craving for that then.

Edwin bought himself this top with "old films" design on it. It looks good on him. Apart from that, there's also his eye-catching rings, especially the one with the carved out "Love" wordings. This is a three in one ring whereby you've to wear on three fingers. A very unique ring design that you'll hardly see in Singapore. It costs about 300 plus thai bahts, equivalent to 10 over plus Sing dollars. He did bargain for price over that.

Andddd we took turns wearing over it for fun.

The one Sharon is seen wearing in the photo is a star design ring, of which its owner is also Edwin! LOL. Not forgetting Edwin's brown leather sling bag and his few other collar shirts... Good buys in Bangkok.

We had this breakfast set meal in Long John. Both we girls ordered the ham and bacon cheese sandwich whereas Edwin ordered the Texas Chicken sandwich. And we changed our drinks to Ice Milo without any additional charges!

Lovely companions on a Sunday morning.
Guys, have a good week ahead and it won't be long before we see each other again.

More good food treats coming your way...

Time flies, Edwin is back from his Bangkok trip! (Latest Update）

Well anyway, we the trios met up last weekend as usual. This time round, it was more like a farewell dinner for Edwin before he flys off for his overseas trip. With a change of venue, we proceeded to BPP's Cafe Cartel that night. By the way, Causeway point is no longer as fascinating as that in the past 'cause most shops are now closed for renovation. Perhaps there will be more things to look forward to after the renovation!

The main intention huimei had in mind was to savour the cakes there whereby Cafe Cartel has this irresistible half-price cakes promotion after 9pm. Indeed, this promotion is available on weekends too apart from weekdays. In the end, aside to the cakes, both huimei and sharon also shared this pork ribs meal priced at a special rate- only $12.90++. (excluding the drink & soup)

There's free flow of bread to go along too.

As for Edwin, he ordered this mushroom chicken cutlet meal. His is a complete set meal after additional top up of $3.90++

Tempting huh? Just look at how huge the portion is. The ribs alone will make you drool! haha.

As for this chicken cutlet, it goes well with the mushroom sauce. Also, the cutlet is crispy. All of us agreed that it was a good meal that night. Thumbs Up!

After savouring the actual main course, it's TIME for desserts! Our long-awaited cakes! Edwin wasn't that fascinated with the cakes though for he said he always buy back in the past. His usual strawberry cheesecake... Till he kinda' get sick of Cafe Cartel's cakes now. Well, but not that he doesn't like it. Just that one may get sick over certain things at times...

And as you can see in the below photos, they are the "tiramisu" and "Chocolate Cheese cake"! We preferred the tiramisu to the chocolate cheese one.

Having a weekly meet-up is good in a way whereby we get to catch up on a weekly basis, and keep one another updated about our past one week's life, be it school, work etc... Most people knew about this plan of ours with the weekly posting of photos on facebook, tsktsk! Without the effort of each individual, we wouldn't have keep this plan going strong till date. There are many more years down the road for us and we'll try to sustain and adhere to this plan as far as possible.

For we believe, one day, as you look back at all your past blog entries, you will start reminiscing back those happy times spent with your besties. It's a good, old memory... Something that stays with you for the rest of your life.

thank you for taking the effort to come,

thank you for being a listening ear,

thank you for your company.

Let's continue to keep this going strong and even better in the years to come.

Let's make the best out of our youth!

Start up your day with a hearty morning breakfast♥

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. we believe that most people must have heard of this saying: 早餐吃得饱，午餐吃得好，晚餐吃得少.

Breakfast is the secret to staying healthy. It is important to take your breakfast for you wouldn't want to feel lethargic for the rest of the day... Eating a good breakfast sets the tone for the day so do not overlook this important meal despite how busy you are in the morning!

As such, the trio was out early in the morning for a kfc hearty breakfast. We ordered a variety of breakfast meals. Edwin had his a.m platter meal, Huimei had her a.m American twister and Sharon had her a.m waffle meal! On top of that, we also shared a box of 6 egg tarts to complete our meal! (tsktsk) Anyway, this was the first time both Sharon and me are trying the egg tarts. The egg tarts taste good, however Sharon still feel that there are nicer egg tarts sold near her previous workplace.

Piping hot egg tarts!!! it wasn't that hot though when we ate it for we didn't eat it straight when first bought. Yummy kfc egg tarts which are finger licking good!

we were preoccupied in our own conversation that we forgotten to capture a snapshot together. Nevertheless, below is an old photo of ours to complete this entry. Photos in our ehs ablum is slowly piling up...Still, there's no end to photo takings because each and every outing is gonna' be a memory left behind...

We've a new companion with us for the day!

Apologies netizens for this late entry. It has been a busy and hectic week for us and it's finally the arrival of Saturday whereby the trio will try their best to adhere to their weekly meet-up plan to unwind themselves. Time to let down your hair during weekend's evening hours! We've got a new companion with us for the day! She is NONE other than DEBORAH who hit it off with us too!:) It has been quite some time since we last catch up with her. No doubt i'm in the same school as deb, however, we hardly have the chance to bump into each other in school, not to mention Sharon and Edwin. Hence, it was a great chilling session with one another that night.

We girls shared spicy miso ramen and seafood ramen for dinner whereas Edwin ordered himself a terriyaki chicken ramen. By now, you would have know that he's a fan of that.

Sharon and Deb dislike the cha-soo ramen because of the cha-soo! Sharon hates the taste whereas deb finds the cha-soo fatty and oily. As such, we picked the spicy miso and seafood ramen instead.

It's not the end after dinner. Soon after a heavy meal, we proceeded off to Cafe Galare' to continue our chit chat session during the late night... Despite how full one's stomach is, there's always space for desserts! With that, me and deb shared this chocolaty ice-cream sundae whereas Edwin went for his favourite wild strawberry ice-cream. On the other hand, Sharon was too full to have any after the ajisen meal...
Looks tempting huh?! This is a good recommendation here: Chocolate overload flavour! You've got to try in Cafe Galare. For your information, there are also nice waffle ice-cream which costs only half the original price on every tuesday. That's indeed one of the best offer deals for waffle ice-cream.

Last of all, shall end off this entry here with a photo of Edwin and BARNEY!!! Barney and the dinosaur!!!!!!!haha. As though back to the old childhood days...

Edwin will be flying off to bangkok soon for a short holiday. In less than two weeks' time!
Bon Voyage, pal! Have good buys there! Bangkok is seriously a SHOPPING PARADISE!!!♥♥

The weekenders!

It was a double meet-up with sharon and edwin respectively over the weekends. The interersting part was we met up in different group combinations on respective days. On Saturday, Sharon and me proceeded to cafe galilee after work for a material-making session. Initially we even had plans to multi-task- Settle our dinner, do materials as well as blog an entry together there. We brought our laptops over and chill at cafe galilee, meanwhile looking through the assignment books to get some ideas. Somehow, we ended up chatting, savouring our twin combo finger foods & talking over the phone with edwin. Cafe Galilee has this twin combo promotion whereby one get to mix 'n' match finger food munchies (Drumlets, chicken chunks, wedges, fries...etc) It costs only $3.80 for this twin combo, cheap isn't it? On top of that, i also ordered the Cookies In Love blended drink to go along with my munchies. Edwin had guard duty and he was over in camp that evening. As such we couldn't meet up with him on the usual saturday and he ended up calling us during the night.

HOWEVER,

Very soon the next day, in less than 24 hours' time, we the trio had another meet-up, but this time round for morning breakfast instead! MACDONALDS!!! We met up 9a.m on the dot at yewtee's mac. The time was a little tight for i had tuition after that. Despite that, we still make full use of the one and a half hours. The tight schedule for that Sunday was : Trio's breakfast in the morning-> huimei off for tuition->edwin and huimei meeting up with joyce in the afternoon @ coffeebean. Speaking of joyce, it has been ages since we j.e.s.h last gathered as a whole. Finally, me and edwin managed to meet up with her that Sunday and we chilled over at westmall's coffeebean. It was a good catch-up with her! we miss those good old times...

Anyway we have something to share here. Currently, coffeebean is having a good lunch set promotion. If you were to order their main courses between 11am-3pm, you get to buy another blended drink/hot drink almost half the original price! Good food deal, isn't it? We also found out from one of the crews there that there will be an extension in time from 11am till 6pm for this promotion in time to come. we love great food deals!!!!
