Though last evening wasn't an on-the-spot celebration with sharon, we managed to pass the present and send our wishes in advance. The intial intention was to go her house on a monday to surprise her, however, edwin had night duty which will end at 9pm. Hence, it wasn't feasible to do that on mon... Well, but LUCK was on our side... we made slight changes to our surprise plan by changing it to a tuesday.(wouldn't want it to be a belated celebration and we managed to have it in advance!) Special thanks to sok sin; we allianced with her 'cause we already knew beforehand that sharon will come home late due to extended tuition time yesterday. Hence, this was the change in plan: To drop by sharon's house before she comes home and pass the present cum card to her sister. Afterwhich, sok sin can help us to "lead" sharon to this "mini surprise"!
Below is the design of our card. Specially D-I-Y birthday card with our best wishes inside!
This is the front cover of the card. The shirt design is rather similar to one of hers in the wardrobe. And as you can see, she has a "twist" and a "clench fist" in her left and right hand respectively...there's actually a meaning behind this. Did you guys notice?!? (*laughs*) lt meant 20; 'cause it's Sharon's twentieth birthday this year!
Not forgetting the design for the back of the card...i made a "ACTION" board for her. Why so? 'cause we're always like the drama mamas and papa when coming together! lt's fun D-I-Ying your own card. You get to develop your own creativity and do something sweet for your friend. You guys can try it at home too! (Have loads of fun doing it^.^)
Apart from our DIY card, joyce, me and edwin also shared another gift for her. lt's pinkie in colour. However, this wasn't premediated. we didn't really plan to get her an all-pinkish gifts. Just coincidental! Well, this shows that Sharon is FATED to PINK! (that's her favourite colour!)
This is the hand-cushion we got for her, accompanied with a necklace. The necklace was hidden in a box inside this hand cushion and when sharon puts her hand inside, she will come to realize this small little surprise gift!
But that's NOT ALL! There's another mini surprise part two. Sharon will now have to log on to facebook 'cause the three of us had earlier filmed a video of our wishes SPECIALLY for her. Though we are not able to see her face-to-face and celebrate with her on the spot, but the video will be our PRESENCE!
