It's finally the TIME to GET WET!!!Here's a brief introduction of the rides and attractions in WILD WILD WET
(seems like advertising for wild wild wet huh, hah)
Shiok RiverWatch as the world drifts by... Shiok river allows one to meander through a vast landscape that'll leave you soothed. Snooze your way through a dream-filled journey for as long as you want
...( This was our first station then. We spent quite some time in the shiok river.)Slide Up(This was our second station...Edwin and sharon tried this first. Each of us took 2 rides with different partners)Imagine plunging down a four-storey ramp, accelerating until you hit the deck and skimming across to soar on the opposite side. Repeat that several times until your momentum runs out. Feel the thrill that cause the nape of your neck to tingle...It is simply AWESOME!
Professor's PlaygroundSlides and Swings the Splashy style! Specially designed around a theme of an experimental laboratory which generates hours of fun for kids...Adults can join in too.
(The three of us had a whale of time in this Professor's playground. We went down the slides and splashed each other with water. Edwin also misplaced his specs there. Sharon and Me played a prank on him when we first found it, hah. Edwin, Be more CAREFUL next time!)Ular-LahA raft slide that offers you the chance to brave the rapids with 5 other companions. Maximum seating capacity up to 6 people. Ideal for thrill and adrenalin seekers!
(This was one of the best water games played back then... The three of us went down together the first time and for the next 3 rides, we joined in with other companions. It's more thrilling if you were to seat in with others, hah)The WaterworksSlam your ways through wacky curves and crazy turnings with the Waterworks. This twisty ride comes in two flavours : open & covered body slides.
(We didn't get to try the covered body slides due to maintenance). Hint to this: Lying down makes you go faster!
(But somehow we still got stuck halfway and had to push our way through, sad...)SkyriderSnag one of the eight twin seat carriages of the Skyrider monorail and dry off with a leisurely tour of the park. Relax, sit back and enjoy the tranquility of gliding 5 metres up in the air.
(Sharon and me board that monorail with the main purpose of taking photos up in the air, heexheex...Meanwhile, Edwin was waiting for us downstairs and he took photos of us up in the monorail ride. This was our last station before we went to bath and proceed to Tampines mall for our late lunch.)
