(Day 2)
8.45am
"Its my life...." , the alarm tone rang off and it woke sharon up first before me. Time passed so fast! It was yet another brand new day! We bathed to freshen up ourselves and get ready to book out. Book-out time is nearing, kind of reluctant...Before that, we had donuts, cereal and ovaltine as our breakfast.
10.30am
If given a chance, we would definitely lengthen our stay. 10.30am arrived so quickly. Firstly, me and Edwin went out to return the key room. Sharon and Joyce continued to stay inside the room. Meanwhile after that, we took some photos together inside the room to keep as memories. Despite having a strong urge to stay on, we could not...Furthermore, the second day wasn;t that bad at all because we're gonna proceed to our long awaited ESCAPE THEME PARK...wOOhoo! Bid farewell to our room 1817 and set off for the day...
PLAYTIME!!!
It had been such a long time since we last let down our hair and immense ourselves in all these fun... Our first stop in the escape theme park was "Haunted House". A brave start. Sharon was afraid and she held on to my hand as we walked in. But that was a commendable effort put in by her because she tried to overcome her fear then. Edwin and Joyce walked behind us. There was another group of people joining us as we toured around the eerie haunted house. They were so noisy, screaming here and there. Kind of regret letting them join us...spoilt the fun.
Next up, we moved on to Pirate Ship. That was one of sharon's fear too. Me and Joyce did not take that ship before... When the pirate ship was swinging to its max, it was quite scary for a first-attempt person. Felt a bit giddy after that when we came down after the swing. But, it was a nice try...(Joyce liked it a lot!)
After "surviving" through the first two"tough ones", we went to try something simpler. Could not remember what's the name for the game, but one thing I could remember was that we had to lie ourselves flat down and the thing would fly higher, higher and higher. Sharon gave it a name called "Superman" because she said we really look like one when we were flying in the air,so funny!
LUNCH TIME`
We were really hungry and thirsty after the few hours' play and it was also lunchtime. We went back to the restaurant "Just Acia" that we had the day before for our lunch once again because there is free flow of drinks and ice-cream which would help to quench our thirst. Stayed there for almost 2-3 hrs. Sharon even fell into a short sleep because she was too tired. We were also quite lazy to move after the heavy lunch, hah.
3.30pm
Replenished ourselves after the rest, we moved on again. This time round, we went to challenge the Go-Kart. Go-kart was Joyce's fear because she had once witnessed an incident when a person got injured while playing the g0-kart. This explains why... We tried to assure her that nothing will happen and persuade her to take the ride...(Promise we would be a safe driver^.^)
We took the double rider at first before proceeding on to the single rider. The single rider was more challenging because there's a steep slope up there where we had to race down.
After g0-kart, we went back to Joyce's favourite- the Pirate ship. We even took consecutive two rides in the same seating position.
Next up, Sharon introduced us the flipper. At first, we had the worried look...But when you're up there in the flipper ride, one would feel so relaxed, gazing at the deep blue sky... This was one of the best games that we had in escape (Everyone agree huh?)
We repeated few games like "the pirate ship", "the flipper", "go-kart". So, you could easily see which ones are our hot favourites, hah. All these dragged on till evening time. Our last challenge for the day was "WET and WILD"...That's right, it's TIME to get WET... Teamed up ourselves, Sharon and Huimei a team, Joyce and Edwin a team! The boat went down the slope and SPLASH, we were drenched like a "luo tang ji"!
7.30pm
OMG! Time passed so fast. Our two days' chalet coming to an end... Sobs...sobs. Happy times are always short-lived. But at least we would have these two days of memories deeply etched in our mind. Our foursome chalet...What a rare and superb experience together. Really miss it a lot till now...
Bye bye DOWNTOWN EAST, hope to cya some other days! 1817, thanks for being one of our nicest stay!
CHECK OUT our day 2 photos up there!

9:05 PM

Back in our room, we packed our groceries and put them into the fridge. Left our luggages aside to make the room look neater. Finally, we could leave our "heavy burdens" aside in the room and need not carry them around. How comfortable to walk around without that heavy loaded bag, hah. Meanwhile after that, we took lots of photos...
